Job description

NIGHT shift position for a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in organ transplant surgery. Inpatient Tranplsant Patient coverage, NIGHTS, weekends as needed. The Transplant Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Ideal candidate would have prior inpatient surgical practice experience, preferrably nephorology experience. Full time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position. Schedule is flexible however Probable schedule is (3) 13.5 hr shifts/week.. https://www.hackensackmeridianhealth.org/en/Services/Organ-Transplantation

  • Primarily Inpatient care, some Outpatient office coverage
  • Primarily Kidney and some Pancreas transplants

  • Orders lab work and tests in accordance with national standards
