Join the Providence ExpressCare Portland team as a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant. As a mission-based, community-focused service, our clinics provide the perfect work-life balance with a 3-day week schedule. ExpressCare serves as a critical access point for the organization, supporting overflow of patients from primary care, urgent care, and emergency departments.
There is plenty of variety in our services, which demand critical thinking and clinic-based procedures, providing variety every day. ExpressCare aims to provide access to our communities, both in person and virtually, with a predictable schedule of 30 twenty-minute appointments in a 12-hour period. The staffing model includes a single provider and a medical assistant, supported by the system's infrastructure. The compensation package is generous and includes the potential for a productivity incentive.
Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
