Overview

As a Physician Assistant, you'll operate under established medical protocols, providing primary medical care within our occupational health program. Shifts are typically 7a-4p or 8a-5p on weekdays, with occasional half/partial days. No nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and compile medical data
• Administer or order diagnostic tests
• Interpret test results and perform therapeutic procedures
• Instruct and counsel patients on health maintenance and adherence to treatments
• Develop patient management plans and ensure continuity of care
• Assist in policy development and educational programs
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation
• Deliver compassionate patient care and manage time effectively in a busy environment
• Seek opportunities for professional development
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members

Qualifications

Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings is preferred. Skills include attention to detail, customer service, confidentiality, and knowledge of occupational health laws and procedures.
