As a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, you will be subject to the medical protocols established by the Association and the Chief Medical Officer of Concentra, in cooperation with other physicians assigned to a clinic or "Center." You will provide primary medical direction and coordinate professional medical care within the occupational health program.

Shifts and Location

Shifts: 4-8/month
Location: Indianapolis Market

Responsibilities

• Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret examination results.
• Administer or order diagnostic tests such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests.
• Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.
• Perform therapeutic procedures, including injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care.
• Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
• Assist in policy development, education, and instructional programs.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring accuracy and quality in documentation and patient care.
• Manage time effectively, adapt to changing needs, and seek ongoing clinical training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related health field from an accredited institution.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of employment.
• At least one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings.
