Location: Western Psychiatric Hospital

Hours: Monday-Friday, daylight

Position Overview: UPMC is seeking a Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at Western Psychiatric Hospital. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in a psychiatric hospital setting with a focus on primary medicine on the hospital floors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients within the psychiatric hospital.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Work in the psychiatric emergency room as needed.
  • Participate in hospital rounding, with up to 100% of time spent in this capacity.
