Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (PA or CRNP) to join our Primary Care team in Williamsport. This 100% outpatient role focuses on continuity of care and relationship-based medicine in a well-established community setting.

You will provide comprehensive primary care, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to ensure coordinated care, with a predictable schedule and no inpatient duties.

Qualifications

  • CRNP or PA credential and PA state licensure in Pennsylvania.
  • Completion of an approved nurse practitioner or PA program.
  • RN license and APRN certification as applicable.
  • PA or CRNP must be eligible for Pennsylvania licensure and board certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care using evidence-based practice.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions in adults and families.
  • Develop personalized care plans focused on quality outcomes.

UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (PA or CRNP) to join our Primary Care team in Williamsport. This is a great opportunity to practice meaningful, relationship-based medicine in a 100% outpatient setting with a strong focus on continuity of care and patient access.



Schedule & Work-Life Balance


  • Monday – Friday | Dayshift

  • 1 Saturday AM per month

  • No holidays, evenings, nights, or call

  • 100% outpatient clinic | No Inpatient or OR

Licensure, Education, Certifications, and Clearances:


  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)

    • Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program

    • BSN required; MSN preferred

    • Pennsylvania RN license and CRNP certification

    • National certification and eligibility for licensure and CRNP certification by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing



  • Physician Assistant (PA)

    • Graduation from an ARC‑PA–accredited Physician Assistant program

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred

    • Pennsylvania PA license and NCCPA certification



  • Required for All APP Candidates

    • CPR certification -

      • CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire



    • Successful completion of Pennsylvania clearances:

      • Act 33

      • Act 34

      • Act 73
