Concentra Onsite Occupational Medicine in Goshen, Indiana is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our onsite occupational medicine practice. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3 PM.

The role includes work-related injuries, non-injury physicals and wellness services, with a base salary in the $140k–$150k range and full benefits. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of PA/NP experience in urgent care or occupational medicine, DOT/NRCME certification, and DEA.

Qualifications

• Licensure in the state of jurisdiction (Indiana)
• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
• Board Certification
• Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but training available
• FMCSA NRCME required prior to start date (we provide CME)
• DEA license required prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and compile medical data from examinations.
• Order or administer diagnostic tests (x-ray, ECG, labs).
• Interpret diagnostic test results and manage patient care.
• Perform procedures (injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care).
• Develop and implement patient management plans; document progress.

We are seeking a highly experienced and mission-driven Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our client's onsite Occupational Medicine practice. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as a PA/NP in an urgent care/occupational medicine setting and will be DOT-certified. Scope of care includes Occupational Medicine: work-related injuries and follow-up care, non-injury physicals, and ancillary services; Personal Health Services: acute personal healthcare and chronic condition counseling; and Wellness.

Responsibilities

• Examines patient, compiles patient medical data and results of examination.
• Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
• Compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
• Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
• Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
• Assists in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.
• Assists in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
• Provides excellent customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
• Dedicated to exceeding customer and patient expectations as measured by NPER/NPS/TATs.
• Ensures accuracy when completing and executing tasks and performing quality assurance checks.
• Ensures accurate, concise, timely and complete documentation of results and paperwork.
• Provides an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs such as scheduling and working additional/different hours/shifts when appropriate.

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $140K - $150K depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
