Concentra Onsite Occupational Medicine in Goshen, IN is seeking a seasoned Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3 PM schedule. The role covers occupational medicine, personal health services, and wellness, with a base salary range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program, with board certification.
  • Active licensure to practice as a PA or NP in Indiana.
  • FMCSA NRCME required prior to start date; we provide CME if needed.

  • Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but training available.

Responsibilities

  • Examine patients and compile medical data from examinations.
  • Order or administer diagnostic tests (x-ray, EKG, labs).
  • Develop and implement patient management plans and follow-up care.
  • Counsel patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
  • Provide occupational medicine services for work-related injuries and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality assurance.

We are seeking a highly experienced and mission-driven Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our client's onsite Occupational Medicine practice. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as a PA/NP in an urgent care/occupational medicine setting and will be DOT-certified. Scope of care includes Occupational Medicine: work-related injuries and follow-up care, non-injury physicals, and ancillary services; Personal Health Services: acute personal healthcare and chronic condition counseling; and Wellness.

Responsibilities
  • Examines patient, compiles patient medical data and results of examination.
  • Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
  • Compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
  • Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
  • Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
  • Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
  • Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
  • Assists in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.
  • Assists in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
  • Dedicated to exceeding customer and patient expectations as measured by NPER/NPS/TATs.
  • Ensures accuracy when completing and executing tasks and performing quality assurance checks.
  • Ensures accurate, concise, timely and complete documentation of results and paperwork.
  • Provides an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs such as scheduling and working additional/different hours/shifts when appropriate.
  • Ability to consistently deliver quality care in a busy clinical environment.

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $140K - $150K depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
