Job summary

Mercy Clinic Breast Surgery - Sindelar Cancer Center in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Breast Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.

This role will manage an independent panel in the High-Risk Breast Program, provide survivorship care and post-operative follow-up, and coordinate care across the continuum with a focus on womens health. The position is in an outpatient clinic with regular hours.

Qualifications

• Advanced practitioner experience in breast surgery or breast health preferred.
• Strong womens health exposure preferred.
• Must be able to manage survivorship care and high-risk breast patients.
• Coordinate care across the continuum of breast surgery care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an independent patient panel within the High-Risk Breast Program.
• Provide survivorship care and high-risk breast management.
• Perform post-operative follow-ups and symptom management.
• Educate patients and coordinate care across the continuum.

Mercy Clinic Breast Surgery - Sindelar Cancer Center

is powered by 3 Physicians, 1 Advanced Practitioner, and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.

Previous Advanced Practitioner experience in Breast Surgery, Breast Health, Women's Health, OB/GYN, or any other surgical specialties with significant women's health exposure is strongly preferred.

This advanced practitioner will maintain an independent panel of patients within our High-Risk Breast Program while also providing follow-up care for breast surgery patients. Responsibilities include survivorship care, high-risk breast management, post-operative follow-up, symptom management, patient education, and coordination of care across the continuum

This Opportunity Offers:

• Hours: Monday-Fri 8am-4pm
• Full-time position- 40hrs/week
• Outpatient Clinic
• Opportunity to build own patient panel as well as close collaboration with providers to provide care
• No weekend or call requirement
