Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license for NP | PA.
• Board certification or eligibility, as applicable (PA: NCCPA; NP: ANCC or AANP, FNP required).
• Active DEA license.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• Active BLS certification.
• EHR proficiency.
• Able to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees paid by NextCare).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable).
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR.
• Code and bill services appropriately.
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values.

Job description

Location: 835 N Gilbert Rd Ste 101, Gilbert, AZ 85234 - Cross-streets: N Gilbert Rd and E Guadalupe Rd.

Status: Full‑Time

Schedule: Three 12‑hour shifts per week; clinic hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week; rotating weekends and occasional holidays are required.

Compensation: $60-$80/hour (based on experience) + monthly productivity bonus
