Description of DutiesThe State University of New York (SUNY) college at Canton invites qualified applicants for Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the Student Health Center. This is an 11-month position.ResponsibilitiesThe role is responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, appropriate medical management, and patient education for acute episodic illnesses, injuries, and stable chronic diseases in a college health center.The PA/NP will engage in timely and appropriate consultation with the supervising physician and actively participate in health education and community outreach activities of the department as needed. Eleven-month permanent position available immediately with NYS benefit package.Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. No nights or weekends.QualificationsRequired:

• Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited educational program for Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners.
• Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
