Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Neuroscience Center – Multiple Sclerosis Full-Time | Monday–Friday University Medical Center New Orleans | LCMC Health University Medical Center New Orleans is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Neuroscience Center, supporting patients with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurologic conditions in an outpatient setting. This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively within a specialized neurology practice focused on high-quality, patient-centered care. Prior Neurology experience is preferred.
The Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner (Outpatient) is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care and treatment to patients under the supervision of a physician. This role includes performing physical examinations, implementing preventive health measures, developing treatment plans, and evaluating patient responses to medical and nursing interventions in accordance with established guidelines.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, mission-driven neurology practice at University Medical Center New Orleans. You will work alongside Dr. Jesus Lovera, a fellowship-trained Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology specialist with more than 20 years of experience caring for patients with complex neurological conditions. As part of UMC and LCMC Health, you will help build and grow a comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology program dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. Our team is committed to improving access to advanced therapies, delivering evidence-based treatment, and supporting patients throughout every stage of their journey.
