Berkshire Health Systems is seeking compassionate, motivated Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) to join the Emergency Department team at Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) in Pittsfield, MA. Whether you’re an experienced emergency medicine APP or a new graduate eager to learn, you’ll find a deeply supportive, collaborative environment designed to help you thrive.

About the Role

As an APP in the BMC Emergency Department, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care across a broad range of emergency presentations. You’ll work alongside a highly engaged team of physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff who value teamwork, communication, and continuous learning.

We welcome both experienced providers and new graduates. Our structured onboarding ensures every APP—regardless of background—has the tools, mentorship, and confidence needed to succeed.

New graduates and APPs transitioning into emergency medicine will participate in our residency‑style training program, which includes:

• Dedicated physician educators with protected administrative time for teaching
• Structured curriculum covering emergency medicine fundamentals, procedures, clinical decision‑making, and high‑acuity care
• Graduated autonomy, allowing you to build confidence safely and steadily
• Regular feedback, mentorship, and professional development support
• Integration into our urgent care sites after completing core ED training

This program is designed to build strong, independent emergency medicine APPs who feel supported every step of the way.

The minimum and maximum of the hourly pay range for this position is shown above. Actual rates of pay may vary based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience and qualifications.
