The Royal Oak SICU team is a dynamic, high‑acuity service within a Level I Trauma Center, providing comprehensive surgical critical care to the region's most severely injured and complex patients. This team is composed of highly skilled APPs and Physicians who work collaboratively to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced academic and trauma‑intensive environment. APPs on the Royal Oak SICU service are integral members of the multidisciplinary critical care team and are trained to manage critically ill trauma and surgical patients throughout the continuum of care, from initial resuscitation through ICU management and transition of care. APPs practice at a high level of autonomy with strong physician support and participate in advanced bedside procedures, invasive monitoring, and rapid clinical decision‑making for complex patients. The Royal Oak SICU team is seeking highly motivated, team‑oriented APPs who thrive in a Level I trauma environment and are committed to professional growth, clinical excellence, and delivering outstanding care to critically ill patients.

Education / Training: Master’s Degree in Nursing OR a Masters in Physician Assistant studies
Work Experience : 1 to 3 years' experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a specialty clinical setting, preferred.
Certification, Licensure, Registration : State of Michigan Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license required AHA/ARC BLS certification required
