Center Point, Inc. in San Rafael, CA is seeking a part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide holistic, quality care in a community clinic and residential SUD treatment settings.

You will diagnose, treat, and manage patient care, prescribe medications, perform exams, and coordinate referrals with a Medical Director. Excellent communication and confidentiality are required; licensure in California as PA or NP is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis, treatments, consultations, and referrals for specialty medical care.
• Prescribe medications; examine patients, diagnose illnesses and provide treatment; order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Gather health histories; perform physical examinations and screenings.
• Develop and implement treatment plans; document patient interactions.
• Notify the Medical Director about unusual or unexpected events or problems.
• Communicate with diverse populations: physicians, staff, and patients; promote health and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications as needed to support patient health.

We are seeking a part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to play a crucial role in our team. This unique opportunity will allow you to provide holistic, quality care to our patients in a community clinic and residential SUD treatment settings.

Duties include:

• Helping with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, consultations, and referrals for specialty medical care.
• Prescribing medication; examining patients, diagnosing illnesses and providing treatment; ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
• Gathering health histories; performing physical examinations/screenings and diagnostic procedures.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans; dictating and documenting all patient interactions.
• Notify the managing physician/Medical Director about unusual or unexpected events or problems.
• Effectively communicate with diverse populations, including physicians, employees, and patients, providing health promotion, prevention, limited diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, infections, and injuries.
• Prescribing medications when needed to ensure patient health and well-being.

Requirements and Skills:

• Must hold a current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license/registration to practice in California.

Pay: $60-$70 per hour.
