Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive patient care across ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings at The Brigham. The PA will perform histories and physicals, order and interpret tests, and develop care plans with careful documentation.

Education requires a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant and an active state license. Rotating night shifts, onsite at 45 Francis Street, are part of the schedule, with a starting pay

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant required.
• Licensed PA with state license.
• Experience as licensed PA preferred.
• Ability to perform histories, physical examinations, orders, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops plans of care and follow-up based on findings.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions per policies.
• Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to patients.
• Maintains timely and thorough documentation including admission, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Performs bedside procedures as appropriate to patient population.
