Job summary

BAS HealthCare in Seattle seeks an Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant in Neurosurgery to join a demanding inpatient team. The role covers 4/10s (7:00am–5:00pm) with occasional weekend beeper call (12-hour shifts) and around 10 patient encounters per shift. Credentialing is expected within 30–60 days.

Active WA license or IMLC, board certification, DEA, ACLS/BLS are required, with strong collaboration across specialists to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Washington license or IMLC eligibility.
• Board certification in appropriate specialty.
• DEA license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage 4/10s per week (7:00am–5:00pm).
• Occasional weekend beeper call coverage on Saturdays/Sundays (12-hour days).
• Rounding in the AM followed by beeper call; manage ~10 patient encounters per shift.
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30–60 days.
