Job description

Neonatal Physician Assistant – Level III NICU

Immediate full‑time opportunity at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia (Charlotte suburb).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 16‑suite Level III NICU.
• Assist neonatologists and collaborate with 5‑6 NNPs/PAs on patient care.
• Maintain 20‑hour shift coverage daily; provide daytime coverage and night backup call from home.
• Cover the newborn nursery as needed.
• Join a team that serves approximately 320 admissions and 1900 births annually.

Qualifications

• Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Minimum of a master’s degree.
• Required experience in a Level III NICU.
