Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Physician Assistant to deliver care under physician supervision across specialties and primary care. You will collect patient data, diagnose common illnesses, perform minor procedures, and order labs in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires PA licensure, BCLS, and preferred NCCPA certification with at least 1 year of PA experience. The position is full-time with pay at $73 per hour and is based in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Science field preferred, may be required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• Physician's Assistant License/Registration from the state Medical Board.
• NCCPA certification preferred; may be required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• One year of PA experience strongly preferred.
• BCLS certified required.
• ACLS/PALS as per state or contract requirements.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services to patients under the direction of a physician.
• Collect and document patient data, diagnose and treat common illnesses.
• Perform minor procedures and order or schedule laboratory studies.
• Provide professional consultations and direct patient care services.
• Work across all specialty and primary care areas as needed.
