Job summary

Locums is seeking a Physician Assistant specializing in Infectious Disease for a full-time contract position in Greensboro, NC. You will perform in-office physical assessments, review histories, interpret tests, and educate patients and families about specialty care.

Collaboration with RNs and CMAs and EPIC EMR documentation are required. You will manage a caseload of 12–15 patients per day, perform procedures per department guidelines, and participate in a supportive, interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active PA-C licensure and state medical license in good standing.
• Specialization in Infectious Disease preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

About the Opportunity:

This full-time contract position seeks a Physician Assistant specializing in Infectious Disease to provide comprehensive care to adult patients. The role involves conducting in-office physical assessments, reviewing medical histories, interpreting diagnostic results, performing office-based medical procedures, and educating patients and their families about specialty care. The successful candidate collaborates with a support team consisting of RNs and CMAs, manages a caseload of 12 to 15 patients per day, and maintains accurate patient records using the EMR system EPIC.

The estimated base pay for these positions are $88.00 to $104.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical assessments and interpret diagnostic tests to provide effective treatment.
• Perform preventive health screenings and educate patients about specialty care conditions and treatments.
