Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens Infectious Disease assignment in Greensboro, NC. Outpatient coverage with 7:00–15:00 shifts, Mon-Thu (8 hours) and Fri (half day), for a period spanning Dec 14, 2026 to Dec 13, 2027.

Applicants must hold an active NC PA license with NCCPA board certification within 1 year, DEA, and BLS CPR. A minimum of 3 years in Infectious Disease or related experience is required; Epic EMR is used; credentialing

Qualifications

• BLS CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform in-office physical assessments and review medical history.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and results to guide treatment decisions.
• Conduct preventive health screenings based on patient age and needs.
• Educate patients and families about infectious disease conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform office-based specialty care procedures.
