Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to collaborate as independent contractors to provide health readiness services to military service members in Kentucky and across remote installations. Weekend and occasional weekday hours are expected, with some on-site work in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in Kentucky is required.
• CPR/BLS Certification is required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends is required.
• Not required to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications.

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine medical concerns and readiness.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health and document results in the medical record.
