Roswell MediCo is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a dynamic care team in Roswell, NM. You will examine patients, collect histories, and develop diagnostic plans in collaboration with physicians. You’ll read tests, explain results, and contribute to treatment plans while maintaining high-quality patient communication.

The role emphasizes accurate charting, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to coordinate with nurses and physicians to deliver comprehensive care to diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensing required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important in their records.
• Read test results, interpret data appropriately, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results.
• Explain to the patient test results and expected health outcomes.
• Prescribe medication or therapy with a physician overseeing as part of a larger health plan.
• Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan.
