Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care across ambulatory, inpatient, and procedural settings. You will perform histories and physicals, order tests, and help develop and manage treatment plans.

The role requires a Master's degree in Physician Assistant and MA licensure, with at least 2 years of PA experience. Night shifts on-site at 15 Francis Street are included, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant required.
  • Massachusetts PA license required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PA preferred (may be considered for a PA I position).
  • Strong ability to take medical histories, perform examinations, and develop care plans.
  • Diligent documentation of admissions, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, patient-centered care in ambulatory, inpatient, and procedural settings.
  • Perform complete histories and physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
  • Develop plans of care and follow-up based on findings.
  • Order medications and write prescriptions per policy.
  • Document thoroughly including operative notes and discharge summaries.
  • Precept a small group of learners when applicable.
