Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL, seeks a neonatal nurse practitioner or neonatal PA to join our Level IV NICU. The role involves clinical management of high-risk neonates, family-centered care, education, administrative duties, and collaboration with medical, nursing and support teams.

Work hours are 40 per week with rotating 10‑hour day shifts and 16‑hour night shifts. Requirements include an APRN or PA license in Florida, current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS

Qualifications

• Clinical master's degree in nursing or DNP, or master's in PA studies.
• Florida APRN or PA license required.
• Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP).
• National Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PA.
• 1 year of NICU experience as an NNP/PA; or NICU RN experience if New Grad.

Responsibilities

• Clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants.
• Educational responsibilities for staff and families.
• Administrative duties and program coordination.
• Consulting with medical, nursing and support services.
• Initiating and implementing research as appropriate.

JHACH is looking for a neonatal nurse practitioner or Neonatal PA to join their Level IV NICU! The practitioner role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA works in collaboration with medical, nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development.

Salary Range: Minimum $53.58/hour - Maximum $83.05/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
