Physician Assistant I - Neuro ICU - Inpatient - Full Time

Join our team of skilled clinicians at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where our Physician Assistants Make It Possible. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and creating a powerful future in healthcare.

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to take on front-line responsibility in our Neuro ICU. Our team uses expertise and compassion to deliver exceptional care, treating neurological diseases such as tumors, stroke, aneurysms, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, MS, and other movement disorders.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of care for neurocritical care patients, including responding to neurological emergencies, as a Neurology ICU PA at NYP Queens Hospital.

Schedule

Three (3) 12.5-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with rotating weekends and holidays. Support neurology coverage at the hospital.

Preferred Criteria

• Neurology experience preferred

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
• Minimum of 2 years of Physician Assistant experience (Critical Care experience desired)
• Current NYS licensure
• NCCPA certification
• DEA registration
• ACLS / BLS certification

Salary Range: $157,000 - $184,275 annually.
