TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a seasoned physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team as a hospitalist APC at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Dickson City, Pennsylvania.

Location

Lehigh Valley Hospital – Dickson City, Pennsylvania.

Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• 7-on / 7-off cycle.
• Nightly average admissions census: 4 patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute care patients independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Respond to rapid response codes.
• Cover floor calls, primarily on the medical-surgical floor.
• Provide inpatient care as an APC without procedural responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Prior hospital medicine or inpatient experience.
• Confidence in managing acute care patients.
