Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant, Clinic Manager to lead our on-site Health Center in New York, NY. You will oversee daily clinical operations, build relationships with employees, and impact overall health and well-being with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

You will manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate patient care while maintaining accurate health records in a single-nurse-unit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Current PA license in practicing state.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the medical field.
• 2–3 years’ management experience.
• Experience applying infection prevention standards (CDC/WHO/APIC).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, staff, and workflow in the health center.
• Oversee hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff.
• Allocate time for patient care and clinical duties.
• Monitor patient flow and utilization.
• Identify process improvements and root cause analyses.
• Lead infection control and quality initiatives; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate policies and coordinate with client representatives.
• Complete incident reports and support investigations.

As a Full-Time Physician Assistant, Clinic Manager, you'll have the opportunity to take the lead in providing high-quality, personalized care to client employees at our onsite Health Center in New York, NY. This is an independently managed, single-nurse-unit setting where you'll oversee day-to-day clinical operations, build relationships with patients, and make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the employee population.

Enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, with no nights or weekends, allowing you to make a difference while maintaining a great work-life balance.

What You'll Do

• Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance.
• Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff).
• Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed.
• Monitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetration.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis.
• Serves as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations.
• Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives.
• Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Current license as an PA in practicing state.
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) may be required for some sites.
• Current hands on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the medical field.
• 2 – 3 years’ management experience.
• Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices.

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $165,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
