Job summary

Healthcare United is seeking a Physician Assistant for a full-time role focused on General Surgery in the Wallingford Area, Connecticut. Provide overnight surgical care with a seasoned APP team and broad operative and inpatient exposure.

Night differential and flexible scheduling options are available. Cover General, Robotic, Bariatric and Thoracic Surgery with some Orthopedic and Vascular coverage. Inpatient surgical service with OR play, Epic EMR, competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Connecticut license or eligibility.
• At least one year in Surgery or related setting; two years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Surgical First Assisting in the OR and rounds, bedside procedures, admissions, discharges and consultations.
• Cover General, Robotic, Bariatric and Thoracic Surgery with some Orthopedic and Vascular coverage.
