Providence Medical Group in Everett is seeking a Surgical physician assistant to join its General Surgery team. The role involves acting as a first assist across a range of procedures, performing patient histories and exams in clinic and hospital settings, and coordinating rounds and discharge planning.

Qualificações

• Physician Assistant licensed in the State of Washington.
• Experience in a surgical setting.

Responsabilidades

• First assist includes breast surgery, hernia surgery, cholecystectomy, colorectal surgery, foregut surgery, surgical oncology including minimally invasive/laparoscopic and robotic surgery, and more.
• Perform patient histories and physical exams in the clinic and hospital setting: new patients, follow ups, post-ops, consults.
• Handle patient rounds, daily documentation including discharge summaries, admission/discharge/inpatient orders, inpatient/outpatient education.
• Order and interpret medications and diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory, ultrasound, CT scans, etc.
• Monitor and manage patient’s course of treatment and make appropriate referrals as needed.
• Perform in office procedures that include minor procedures (soft tissue excision, I&D’s), anorectal exams.
• Monday to Friday schedule.

Providence Medical Group in Everett is looking for a Surgical physician assistant to join its General Surgery team. Being flexible to change, having a willingness to learn and excellent interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills are also highly desired. Position Details:

• First assist includes breast surgery, hernia surgery, cholecystectomy, colorectal surgery, foregut surgery, surgical oncology including minimally invasive/laparoscopic and robotic surgery, and more
• Perform patient histories and physical exams in the clinic and hospital setting: new patients (soft tissue lesions, benign breast, anorectal diseases, pilonidal disease), follow ups, post-ops, consults
• Handle patient rounds, daily documentation including discharge summaries, admission/discharge/inpatient orders, inpatient/outpatient education
• Order and interpret appropriate medications and diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory, ultrasound, CT scans, etc.
• Monitor and manage patient’s course of treatment and make appropriate referrals as needed
• Perform in office procedures that include minor procedures (soft tissue excision, I&D’s), anorectal exams
• Monday to Friday schedule

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation is between $148,130 and $193,098 per year

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
