Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in Brooklyn, NY 11235 is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant – Medicine. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $131,127 to $174,836 per year.

Responsibilities include obtaining histories, conducting exams, ordering and interpreting tests, and coordinating care with medical subspecialists as needed. NYS PA registration and NCCPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• New York State registration as a Physician Assistant is required.
• NCCPA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive medical histories, perform thorough physical examinations, and document clinical findings.
• Order, perform, and interpret routine diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies, imaging, and EKGs.
• Monitor patient status, communicate significant clinical changes and results to supervising physician.
• Perform common bedside procedures such as injections, IV line placement, NG and urinary catheterization.
• Conduct daily patient rounds, assess progress and document evaluations and treatment plans.
• Coordinate patient care by consulting and referring to subspecialists as needed.
