Job summary

AFC Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our Granada Hills, California team. This role supports urgent care services with walk-in patients, on-site labs and imaging, and a schedule of 12 shifts monthly, 8am–8pm.

Competitive pay with overtime and bi-weekly bonuses is offered. Ideal candidates hold an unrestricted California PA license, NCCPA certification, and a DEA certificate, with at least one year of ER/urgent care or primary care experience and comfort with minor

Qualifications

• Active California PA license or eligibility.
• DEA certificate required.
• NCCPA board-certified.
• Minimum 1 year ER/urgent care or primary care experience.
• Comfort with minor procedures (suturing, draining abscesses).

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services for walk-in patients.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing and abscess drainage.
• Workday, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Collaborate with on-site lab and imaging teams.

Our state-of-the-art Urgent Care centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis seven days a week with lab and x-rays on-site. We are seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our Team in Granada Hills, California.

• Competitive Pay. Hourly Rate: $70-$82 with preapproved overtime pay.
• Typically 2 – 3 workdays per week, with 9 – 12-hour shifts and pre-approved overtime
• Additional bi-weekly bonuses based on patient volume thresholds.

What does AFC Urgent Care require?

• An unrestricted medical license in California
• DEA Certificate
• Must be NCCPA Board Certified
• At least one year’s experience in an ER, Urgent Care or Primary Care setting
• Able to treat patients of all ages and be comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses, etc.)
• Available to workday, evening and weekend shifts.
