The Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) is an advanced practice provider responsible for the comprehensive management of trauma patients admitted to the Trauma Service.
The PA works collaboratively with the Trauma Attending of the Week, Trauma Medical Director, consulting services, residents, nursing, and ancillary staff to provide high-quality, evidence-based care in accordance with American College of Surgeons standards and RWJBarnabas Health policies
The Trauma Surgery PA reports to APP leadership and works under the supervision of the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery attending physicians in accordance with New Jersey law and RWJBarnabas Health policies.
