Job summary

Texoma Medical Center seeks a Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy acute care environment. You will work under supervising physicians, performing histories, exams, orders, and prescribing under scope, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Master's in PA studies, NCCPA certification, active Texas PA license, and BLS/ACLS; DEA registration if prescribing controlled substances is necessary.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure is not required for this PA role; the job focuses on physician assistant practice and collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Master's degree from an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification required.
• Active Texas PA license and DEA registration if prescribing controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under physician supervision in a busy acute care setting.
• Perform histories, exams, and orders for diagnostic/therapeutic tests.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions as allowed by scope.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely documentation.
