Job summary

Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a dedicated care team. You will provide direct patient care, perform histories and exams, and order tests under supervision.

The role offers full-time hours, competitive benefits, and opportunities for overtime across multiple shifts. The ideal candidate holds a Texas PA license with NCCPA certification; BLS/ACLS are required, and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Texas PA license with PA-C certification (NCCPA).
• DEA registration if prescribing controlled substances is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; experience in acute care settings is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide patient education.
• Flexibility to work overtime and cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with Texas laws and hospital policies.
• Perform histories, examinations, orders for diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Develop and manage treatment plans, including prescribing medications as appropriate.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurses and other team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in education and quality initiatives.

Education

Master's degree from accredited Physician Assistant program

Current Texas PA license

BSN preferred
