Salary Range: $51,755.37 - $77,633.06
The PA Fellowship program is a 12-month rotational program across adult and pediatric emergency departments, including multiple off-service rotations. Participants train with departments such as SICU, CCU, Anesthesia, Ultrasound, Ophthalmology, EMS, Toxicology, and others. The program combines clinical and didactic work at Albany Medical Center.
This program aims to train new graduates and those transitioning into Emergency Medicine. Given the specialty's steep learning curve and need for specialized care, additional training is essential. We believe this program enhances provider competency, career development, and patient care quality.
Upon completion, Fellows will possess the knowledge and skills to practice emergency medicine successfully in various settings, from academic to critical access centers.
Success depends on Fellows gaining exposure to different acuity levels and subspecialties, fostering a well-rounded knowledge base and independence. Progress is monitored through evaluations, real-time feedback, mentorship, ROSH Review materials, ongoing education, simulation scenarios, and more.
