Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced nursing care across age groups, from infants to older adults, in a primary care setting. The role includes comprehensive exams, histories, diagnoses, treatment, and individualized care plans, with prescription authority within state scope.

The provider will deliver patient education, coordinate follow-ups and referrals, document thoroughly in the EHR, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in NP from an accredited program.
• Current RN and NP licensure in practicing states.
• FNP board certification (FNP-C or FNP-BC) required.
• DEA permit to prescribe controlled substances in states of practice.
• Privileging/credentialing requirements may apply; primary care/family medicine experience preferred.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in each state of practice
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice
• State Controlled Substance License, if required by the state
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC)
• Obtain and maintain required specific competencies and certifications outlined on the privilege form
• Experience in primary care or family medicine preferred
