Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician in Rhinelander, WI, to provide advanced clinical services in a combined ED/UC setting. The role includes two APPs on staggered day shifts and a substantial annual patient volume in a trauma-level I-III environment.

Minimum of 2 years in emergency medicine, board certification, and Wisconsin license (or IMLC) are required, with ACLS/ATLS/BLS/PALS certifications. Lodging available and competitive compensation with malpractice coverage.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in emergency medicine at a trauma level I-III facility.
• Board certification required (Certified level minimum).
• Active Wisconsin license or IMLC required.
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practice clinical services in a combined emergency department and urgent care setting.
• Work with 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians on staggered day shifts.
• Handle a patient volume of 15,000–20,000 ED/UC visits per year.
• See 12 patient encounters per shift, with 12–15 patients per shift.
• Cover 12 x 12-hour shifts per month.
• Shift hours: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM or 10:00 AM–10:00 PM.

The facility maintains a strong team-based environment with 1-2 physicians on staff at all times and a 15-bed department, ensuring collaborative and high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Provide advanced practice clinical services in a combined emergency department and urgent care setting
• 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians work staggered shifts during the day
• Volume of 15,000-20,000 ED/UC visits per year
• 12 patient encounters per shift, with a range of 12-15 patients per shift
• Need for 12 x 12-hour shifts per month covered
• Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in emergency medicine at a trauma level I-III facility required
• Board certification required (Certified level minimum)
• Active Wisconsin license or IMLC required to be considered
• Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
