SEMPA seeks a Full-time Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join the APP team serving Atrium Union ED and affiliated sites in Union County, NC. The PA will rotate through Atrium Union, Union West, Waxhaw and Providence EDs, collaborating with ED physicians to see patients of all acuity levels.

The role emphasizes independently and with physicians scheduling, supervising, and performing complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the ED, within the scope of state boards.

Job description

Full time Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Atrium Union ED in Union County NC- our APP team covers shifts at Atrium Union, Union West, Waxhaw and Providence EDs. A FT ED PA would rotate through all shift times and all locations listed above. Collaborative work with our ED physicians seeing patients of all acuity levels.

Augments a physician's ability to provide patient care services by independently and interdependently scheduling, supervising, and/or conducting complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and/or surgeries in the Emergency Medicine setting. Participates independently in the delivery of direct patient care within the scope of the individual authority granted by the applicable state State Boards of Medical Examiners.
