Description:Schedule is from 9 AM to 9 PM.No on-call hours required.Primary responsibilities include assessing and treating patients in the emergency department.The role involves performing triage, stabilization, and emergency procedures as required.Candidates will need to provide rapid clinical decision-making in high-pressure situations.Collaboration with nurses, specialists, and support staff to deliver high-quality care is essential.Documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in the hospital’s EMR is expected.The position works in the main emergency department with single coverage.There will be collaboration with 1-2 board certified Emergency Medicine Physicians in the department.Experience in a fast-paced, high acuity emergency department is desired.Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are necessary.Ancillary services are available to support the emergency department.The facility is a level 2 trauma center.Expected patient encounters per shift are approximately 12-15 plus handoffs.The nearest airport is available for convenience.Lodging recommendations are provided for travel needs.
