Job summary
TeamHealth seeks an experienced emergency medicine physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the ED team at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in New Jersey on a full-time basis.
You will work with strong physician collaboration in a busy, community-focused ED within a respected health system, with weekend shifts and competitive compensation.
Qualifications
- NJ licensed PA-C or NP with current credentials.
- Based in New Jersey and authorized to practice in ED.
- Experience in emergency medicine preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care in a high-volume ED.
- Collaborate with physicians on patient assessment and treatment.
- Ensure timely documentation and patient handoffs.

Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our emergency department team on a full-time basis. This role offers flexibility, strong physician collaboration, and the opportunity to practice in a busy, community-focused ED within a highly respected health system.
- Part of the Virtua Health system and Lourdes Health System campus
- Access to on-site specialty services and advanced diagnostic resources
- Emergency department annual volume: 51,000
- 32-bed EDEMR:EPIC
- Admission rate: 18-20%
- NPs/PAs must be available for all shifts including 2 full weekends a month
Competitive compensation, with an estimated base salary of $75 to $85 hourly.
