Job summary

TeamHealth has an excellent full-time opportunity for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our emergency department team at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Missouri.

Parkland Health Center’s ED sees about 30,000 patients yearly in a 29-bed unit with Epic EMR. Our site features physician and APC coverage and a collaborative, supportive environment.

Missouri medical license or ability to obtain before start date is required, with ACLS and PALS certifications maintained.

Qualifications

• Board-certified through AANPCB or NCCPA.
• Minimum 2 years EM experience as PA or NP.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Missouri medical license or ability to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Join the emergency department team at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, MO.
• Provide emergency medicine care as PA/NP in collaboration with ED staff.

About Parkland Health Center's Emergency Department

Annual patient volume of 30,000 29-bed ED EDEMR: Epic 34 hours of physician coverage 24 hours of APC coverage

Position Requirements

• Boarded through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• We ask that you have a minimum of 2 years of EM experience as a PA or NP to apply
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Missouri medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date
