Heritage Valley Beaver is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to deliver primary and emergency care to patients across age groups in a busy ED. This full-time role involves rotating shifts and cross-credentialing between campus sites, under physician supervision and with coordination from the ED Nurse Practitioner Coordinator.
Required are PA certification/licensure and BLS, with ACLS/PALS encouraged. Completion of required clearances within 90 days of employment is expected.

The Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant is a professional with advanced education and training in the primary and emergency care of newborn to geriatric populations. The physician assistant is responsible for providing primary care to Emergency Department patients under the direct medical supervision of the Emergency Department physician, indirectly under the supervision of the Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner Coordinator, and ultimately reports to the Medical Director.
Requirements:
Nationally certified and/or State licensed to provide care as a physician assistant. BLS certification.
Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred:
At least one year of direct emergency patient care experience. ACLS & PALS certification is encouraged.
