Job summary

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant Education faculty member in Omaha, NE. The role may include some clinical practice and a hybrid schedule with both remote and on-campus work.

The candidate will teach and support students in PA education, participate in PBL, OSCEs, clinical site recruitment, and student evaluation, and engage in related educational research.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA, NP, or Medical Program.
• Master’s degree in an appropriate field required.
• Two or more years of clinical experience required.
• Current license as a Clinician in Nebraska or eligible for licensure.
• Current active certification as a Clinician required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel to locations for clinical site recruitment.
• Commitment to the mission and goals of UNMC.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching and clinical education support to students on Omaha and Kearney campuses.
• Assist in PBL, clinical skills, and OSCE evaluations.
• Join student experiences focused on clinical reasoning as a medical provider.
• Assist in clinical site recruiting, support and evaluation.
• Contribute to research in clinical/educational areas.
• Hybrid work week with some remote and on-campus duties.
