Job summary

Swedish Medical Group seeks a dedicated physician assistant to join the Critical Care team in Seattle, WA. The role supports the APC program at Swedish First Hill and Cherry Hill campuses.

This part-time 0.7 FTE position offers 109 shifts per year, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with weekends and holidays as required. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing and managing critically ill patients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of critical care experience as a PA required.
• Active Washington license required.
• Active DEA license required.
• Active ACLS/BLS certification required.
• Board-certified PA-C and strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis and management of critically/acute ill patients.

Position Details:

• Part-time position at 0.7 FTE




• 109 shifts per year; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., variable schedule, includes weekends and holidays




• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and management of critically/acutely ill patients




• Collaborate closely with critical care physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care




• Perform inpatient procedures consistent with training and scope of practice

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation is between $145,767 and $190,261 per year

Compensation may include productivity, quality and service incentives, or extra shift incentives as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Board certificated Physician Assistant (PA-C)




• 2+ years critical care experience as a PA required




• Active Washington license




• Active DEA license




• Active ACLS/BLS certification




• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and proficiency in managing critically ill patients




• Have the willingness and flexibility to adapt to challenges and changes in a growing program
