Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington, a major tertiary care facility, seeks an Advanced Practice Clinician to join the APC team. The role involves autonomous patient care within a physician-led group, aligned with state law and medical staff privileges.

The APC collaborates with other health professionals to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care, supported by the system's policies, ethics, and compliance framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in APC and completion of accredited APC program.
• National certification from the appropriate certifying agency for the APC.
• Must maintain national certification.
• Licensed to practice as an APC in Kentucky (unrestricted).
• BCLS required through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS as required for position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of the physician-led team in accordance with State Law and Medical Staff privileges.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Support health care decision-making through clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
