Altea Healthcare seeks an experienced Physician Assistant Certified to join our Georgia team in a post-acute, skilled nursing facility. You will diagnose and treat health conditions, order diagnostics, prescribe medications, and educate patients and families on diseases and prevention.

The role emphasizes teamwork with other health professionals, ongoing clinical education, and dedication to advancing knowledge in post-acute care. Valid PA state license in the appropriate area is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a non-physician provider in a clinic, hospital, skilled nursing, ER or other setting.
• Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices.
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations.
• Strong ethics and teamwork.
• Patience and good communication skills.
• Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience.

Responsabilités

The job description includes conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests, and overseeing patients' health. You are both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. You should have experience in one of the following specialties: acute care, family health, or geriatrics. Extensive clinical experience in primary care is vital.
