Altea Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a post-acute and skilled nursing care team. You will diagnose, treat, and guide patients toward better health in a busy facility, with ongoing training and mentorship for growth.

The role emphasizes geriatric/primary care, collaborative teamwork, and patient-first care, with support for new grads and experienced providers alike.

Formación

• PA-C license or eligibility to obtain.
• Training & mentorship available for all experience levels.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, treat, and guide patients to better health as a PA-C in a skilled nursing facility.
• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions; prescribe medications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff; educate patients and families.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

As a PA-C, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.
