Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a full-time role in post-acute and skilled nursing care. Compensation ranges from $125,000 to $155,000 per year, with uncapped bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

As a PA-C in our facility, you will perform physical exams, review histories, order and interpret tests, diagnose and manage conditions, prescribe medications, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• PA-C license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care is valued.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and facility staff.

What You’ll Do:

As a PA-C, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.


• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).


• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.


• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.


• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
