Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Physician Assistant – Cardiovascular Surgery to support the open-heart program at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY. The role involves perioperative and inpatient care in collaboration with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, orders for medications and tests, assisting in surgery, and mentoring PA staff. NYS PA license, NCCPA, DEA, BLS/ACLS, and recent OR experience required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program (Master’s preferred).
• Active NYS PA License & NCCPA certification.
• Unrestricted DEA license.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Recent OR experience required.
• Cardiothoracic First Assist & vessel harvesting experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Employment Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Schedule: 12.5-Hour Day Shifts (Flex)
Pay: $73/hr– $90/hr
Trauma Level: II

Position Overview

Requirements
